John Terpstra is a Hamilton writer, poet and recently retired cabinetmaker/carpenter. His books have won and been short-listed for a variety of awards, and one of his poems is inscribed on a plaque in Sam Lawrence Park overlooking downtown Hamilton. Daylighting Chedoke is the third of his non-fiction books about the unique geography (and history) at Head of the Lake.
