The Ontario Historical Society is interested in historical projects throughout the province. Information concerning their activities and events, publications and membership as well as historical news from around the province can be found on their website at ontariohistoricalsociety.ca
It is of interest and value to note that many of the historical or heritage societies in the area produce newsletters and maintain web sites. These often contain interesting short articles on local history and also provide information about coming historical celebrations and presentations.
