From the book 1960 Hamilton –The roadways on the Mountain leave a lot to be desired as can be seen with this badly rutted area of Fennell Avenue east of Ottawa Street in April of 1960.
Even this bus has a difficult time in navigating the street, with the ruts and barriers creating a driver’s nightmare.
